A team of attorneys led by Managing Partner, Jim Moore, recently assisted long time firm client, F&W Forestry Services, Inc., in a major acquisition of a timberland management company with operations in both the United Kingdom and in the Northeastern U.S.. The transaction, which closed on April 1st, 2016, substantially enhances the presence of F&W Forestry Services, Inc. as a worldwide provider of forestland management and brokerage services.
In addition to Jim Moore, other members of the firm who were part of the team facilitating this acquisition included Ralph Rodgers, Wallace Bonner, Eric Hooper, Lee Brown and paralegal Kim Shirley. The firm’s Commercial, Banking and Business Law, Wealth and Business Planning and Real Estate Law Departments were all integrally involved in the transaction.
During 2015, the firm, again involving a team of attorneys led by Managing Partner Jim Moore, also assisted F&W Forestry Services, Inc. with the expansion of its forestland management and brokerage business in Uruguay and Brazil.
