Press release - Rising Star

Michael Eric Hooper, an attorney with the law firm of Moore, Clarke, DuVall & Rodgers, P.C., has been selected to the 2016 Georgia Rising Stars list in the area of taxation. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the entire state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. Hooper practices in the areas of Taxation, Trusts & Estate Planning, Corporate Law, Business Law, Probate & Estate Administration. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at the Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University, where he teaches a course on the Taxation of Pass Through Entities. He received a B.S. from the United States Military Academy in 2000, a J.D. from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 2009, and a LLM in taxation from the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida in 2010.
